Question about Amazon Kindle Fire HD
You need to go to your account at Amazon, click on Manage Your Kindle and then on Manage Your Device. There, take note of the serial number of your device and then deregister it.
Now click on Kindle Support, select your model and then click on the orange bar at right marked'Contact Us'. There, you can mark in the second group ('Tell us more about your issue') the issue as 'Other Kindle questions', the issue details as 'My Kindle is lost or stolen' and the additional details as 'Deactivate my Kindle'. The you can choose the type of contact you want to perform (via e-mail, chat or telephone).
Hope you may find this information helpful!
