Try first without power to switch from freewheel to engaged. Its usually a small lever on the back by the wheels. If the scooter can be moved by hand its in freewheel. Switch the lever then move the scooter slightly til you hear it click in. They don't have brakes, They are supposed to live in gear and then are either moving or not. :) Hope this helps.

My gogo ultra is showing fully charged and horn beeps, when i put key in it beeps fast 10 times and 5 beeps after

5 beeps usually means scooter is out of gear, but since the lever is in the drive position and the scooter gearbox/differential is engaged, it seems that the controller is not sensing the gear change. Possibly a faulty micro switch in the motor housing can be the cause of this, usually the micro switch is pressed down by the drive lever and if the switch is pressed down the motor controller knows the scooter is in gear.

What is the main cause of un passing electric to start

Hi, Bijualexander and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Bank angle sensor tripped and ignition/light key switch not cycled to the "OFF" position and then back to the "ON" position.
5. Security alarm needs a reset.
6. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Electric starter shaft pinion gear is not engaging or over-running starter clutch slipping.

Scooter beeps and won't go. Gear doesn't click into "engaged" mode sometimes. It seems to slip between "engaged" and "freewheel".

sounds to me like the starter solenoid that's what I would replce first , then look towards new battery's if that fails .

Gears not engaging properly

If it is the typical worn motor and the scooter is over 5 years old you are better off buying a new scooter.
Gears rarely go bad unless they were overloaded. It's usually the motor that wears out and is intermittent before it goes.

My REVO is stuck in gear and wont go into neutral. Athough the lever does move to neutral. What could be worng?

My dad's Revo had the same problem. What happened was the little piston that the engage the gear is stuck and when you pull the lever to dis-engage the gear to neutral the piston stuck no matter how much force you use. What I did was take a flat head screw driver and can to WD40, spray some WD40 directly on to the piston let it sit for 10 second the WD40 to penetrate, then take a flat head screw driver try to lift the piston to dis-engage while pulling the lever up. You will need to remove the left wheel to see the clutch assembly. Good luck.

Starter motor just whines and wont start

Hi, Rayanthony19 the starter drive/Bendix is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. This is normal. A slider gear engages into rectangular slots in a drive gear. The slots allow the dogs easy engagement into gear. The knock you are hearing is the engaging dogs striking each end of the driven gear. Please rate my answer, thanks.
