Question about Amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device
The message indicates the device believes your battery to be faulty and will not charge it anymore for security reasons. The Kindle's assessment of the battery state may be a glitch I've seen reported several times and there may be a way to fix the situation:
You can try a hard reset of your device: press and hold the power switch for 30 seconds, then release it and wait for the Kindle to turn off. Then turn it on again. See if the issue is gone.
If this does not help, there is a known issue with the "Battery Pro" app. If you have it installed, remove the app and restart the device.
Last resort is to contact Amazon Kindle support via http://www.amazon.com/kindlesupport and clicking the "Contact Us" button (its yellow).
