If it's a mid 1990's or newer then it should take R-134-A availble at several dept. stores or autoparts supplies. If it's a older model then it may take R-12 which you have to be lincensed to even buy. There should be a decal under the hood [ most GM cars have it on the A/C housing ] stating the type and amount the system takes when empty.
Inexpensive R-134-a charge kits are available also, just make sure you understand the directions before you attempt any recharge as you can ruin the A/C system or hurt youself.
Have your system administrator go into voicemail programming and reset the mailbox password. The default password will be "0000".
