Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater

I have a 10 year old Burnham Model 3WNH, and was told that I could get hot water for showering from it. Is this possible? I do see a 2 1/2" knock out on the back.

Yes but you need to install either a side arm Tank or a Plate exchanger with a tank. Both ways should be installed by a Professional Plumber or heating Technician..This will save you money in the long run.

House hold hot water is a common addition to boilers. Some, not all have it as an option.

The problem I'm having with your question is the model number. I don't find that number anywhere. Can you check that again please?

What is the model number of the unit in question? What color was the old cartridge in the valve and the new cartridge that you replaced it with? If no model number do you have any pictures of this valve/trim in question? It could be that you got the wrong replacement cartridge or something is not properly aligned within the valve. Feel free to contact me direct at Hansgrohe. I'd be happy to help. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David. Or email me at david.scarborough@hansgrohe.com

Bath tub water doesn't stay hot

it is because the tub has a temp control valve in it so if you were to put more cold with the hot it will last longer but still won't be all the way hot,, now a days people are suing the manifacture because they are getting burned form the hot water so they put these saftey temp controls in place of the old style 2 or 3 handle faucets,, there fo no more real hot water nothing you can do outside of change to the othere type of faucet 2 or 3 handle tub shower diverter,, that why the water is hot in the sink but not the tub.....

Will the water stay hot in the kitchen sink? Try to isolate the problem. If it is happening at all hot water locations, then it will be related to your water heater. If just in the shower then it is related to the mix of water ratio coming out of the shower hear. If its only the shower, then you are getting too much cold and not enough hot through the pipes. This can be very simple to fix by replacing the handle going to the shower. If this does not work then you may have a problem in the hot water pipes. After you isolate the problem, please post another question here.

Water in shower not very hot

It could be possible you require more water volume, so take off both panels on youur water heater and check what temp. they are at.
