We purchased a Real Simple Solution 6-cube storage unit and the instructions are missing.

Hello, Nancy -

If you purchased the storage unit at a store, I suggest you contact the store Customer Service department and ask about how you can obtain the assembly instructions.

Right now, contact information I have been able to find for Real Simple relates to subscriptions to the magazine. I will keep on looking and relevant information if / when I find it.

Added:
I still have not found information on what company / companies manufacture storage units for Real Simple. Therefore, contacting the store where you purchased the 6-cube storage unit seems to be the best route to follow.

Tip

Remove bloodstains before washing

I take a medication to reduce clotting which means a scratch can bleed for a while. If not noticed and washed straight away it is very difficult to remove. Sodium Hydroxide solution aka caustic soda will remove dried blood from white cotton sheets before washing. It is the main constituent of oven cleaner/ drain/plug hole cleaner. Test before use but note it will remove printed patterns so only use on plain fabric and only on cotton/polyester-cotton/nylon/polyester especially not wool or silk. Use rubber gloves and avoid splashing, wash off skin/eyes immediately if affected. It also dissolves rusty stains and others of a "biological" nature.

Hi I need to sew a fleecy backing to a crochet item which settings do I need for the wool not to strech? Thanks

I would put the fleece on the bottom. pin the wool item to top with pins fairly close together so it says where you want it. sew with the wool side up and use a normal stitch setting but go very slowly and tuck the wool bits under the sewing machine foot so it does not get caught on a loop of wool. remove the pin just before you are going to sew over it and it should keep your wool centered on your fleece. hope this helps good luck.

When i do a white wash some items come out with dark stains on them

Fabric softener will stain man-made fibres such as 100% polyester, and should only be used on natural fibres, ie, wool, cotton, linen.

Is the whaley haunting true

There is of course a Whaley House (but not the one seen in the movie), and Life Magazine called it "the most haunted house in America".

Whether it is real from that point, well, do you believe in ghosts?

Blue screen no image

simple things first---unplug set and a box from power if use one for a while, replug and see what happens, a power disconnect and reconnect will have a chance to reboot.

I have seen several times where a glitch with a box will confuse the set itself, know it sounds silly but I have seen it and not real hard to try.

How to use the dryer?

This should be simple and will not need a user manual. For silk, polyester, nylon, wool and delicate fabrics that dryer setting knob should be set to "Less Dry" or similar settings and then press on the start knob. For cotton, use the "More Dry" Setting. Now, these settings may vary between models. I am more familiar with the Whirlpool ones. Gook luck.
