Pioneer Pro-200 60" Rear Projection Color Adjustment

I have a 60" Pioneer Pro-200 Rear Projection TV and my kids lost the remote control. I am almost ready to invent in a new TV although this TV works great except for the color. It is very dark and I can't find my remote. Is there any way to adjust color without a remote. I don't want to pay $140-$180 for a replacement remote. Can anyone please assist me with a reasonable soltion to my problem. Thank You!

Hello how do i set the convergence manualy on a pioneer elite pro-710hd projection tv i dont have the remote and dont know how to bring the menue up on the tv

You MUST have the remote to perform service operations on the Elites. Look on ebay or do a google search for Pioneer 710 remote.
There is no way to manually do convergence without a remote, and no way to call up the convergence menu.

hi..first check it out the brightness. It is available in the
menu button, available on the top of the tv.If it still doesnt
work Projection TVs have a high intensity lamp as the light
source. They wear out and gradually get dim.You probably
need to replace it.
check it out..

Blue tint on rear projection tv

If this is a crts model , then one of the crts had blown, if it is a lamp rear projection, then it is a fault on the video circuit.

Pro 510 no color

Hello sherylfaith,

You might be having problems with the Video IC, actually the section of the IC that controls color. I would first check to see if the color controls are working, I would also suggest checking the color presets and defaults. After trying these controls if the color can not be corrected then troubleshooting of the circuitry is needed for this I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician look at the set and give you an estimate for repair.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

You need to use the convergence feature for your set. What this is is having the three color guns aligned properly, There is hopefully an automatic adjustment on your set-up menu, if not adjustments for each seperate gun. Basically you adjust the lines of the adjustment screen so the line turns black and white. You can easily see what needs it.

If this needs to be done manually, it is a chore. Contact me for directions how to do this. It is best left to a pro but this can get costly and wouldn't hurt if you tried yourself as if someone comes in, the cost would be the same whether it is out slightly or severely.
