My RCA universal remote (RCR412SIR) stopped working. Green back light stays on and doesn't respond to any button being pushed, even after changing the batteries.

Here are the codes for the TV, 000,006,011,0019,027,034,038,044,046,088,...VCR codes,.000,005,007,008,028,035,037,054,069. How to program, 1..Turn the component on. 2..Press and release the component button you are trying to program (tv,)(vcr) etc..the light will come on and remain on. 3. Press the component and the on/off button, the light will go off then come back on. 4. Release both buttons after the on/off button comes back on, the button should remain on. 5. Press and release the PLAY button, if the component does not respond after five seconds, continue to press PLAY until it turns off. 6. Press and release REVERSE button and wait to see if it turns back on. 7. Press and release the STOP button to save the code...hope this was helpful...

Turn on the component, you want to program, press and hold the component key you need to change (VCR, DVD, TV, etc.) then press and hold the on.off button, wait until the light stays on, and release both buttons. Press the on.off button (wait 4 seconds between) until your component turns off. Then press the stop button to save the code.

1) turn on unit

2) press and hold componet button on remote (TV, VCR, etc)
until On/Off lights up

3) press and hold On/Off while holding component button. Light will go out. Continue hoding both buttons until light comes back on.

4) release both buttons. On/Off should stay on.

5) Press On/Off repeatedly until unit turns off.

6) Press the Stop key at bottom.

7) light goes off. Remote is programmed!

it will take you to a remote control code finder. just plug in the model numbers and it will tell you if there's a code available.

If the batteries were replaced then it forgot the code you put in. You may find it here at the RCA site.

For the majority of phillips/magnavox universal remotes: Hold code search button down till red light satys on. Press the tv button and the red light should blink and stay lit. With the tv on, push the power button repeatedly until the tv turns off.(dont push the power button again after the tv turns off or it will go to the next code). Push the mute button to save the setting.

Answer for how to program the RCA RCR3273 3-DEVICE SNOWBOARD UNIVERSAL REMOTE:
Make sure the device is on. Hold down the tv (or whichever device you're trying to program) button and the power button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid. Then press the power button, it will flash one time, and keep pressing slowly, letting it flash until the device turns off. Then press the stop button...and it is programmed.
