Question about ASUS X71 Computers & Internet
Well, supposing you already checked all Software Settings like Balance and everything that may have disabled the Speaker via Software, i suggest to open the Notebook (if you feel able to do that) and look if you can locate the Speaker check the Cabling.
If you are lucky the Speaker is accessible after opening the Backcover, if not you will need to dig further and probably remove the Frontcover too, which needs some Techknowledge and sure instinct for such Operations.
Also thats a Thing you only do if your Warranty is over and you know how to do it, if you still have Warranty send the Notebook for Repair or try to get a Technician One-Site.
