How do I access the circuit board to repair the charging port? Seem I must "Cut" into it?
No you don't have to cut into it. Might be to late now but this is how you take it apart. 710 is the same way
1- Remove the front film. This is held on with 3m double sided tape. So it will be stiff and you will have to work at it for a little while.
2- Once the front cover is off you will see the retaining bezel under this. There are about 8-12 screws running around the outside of this. All of these screws must come out. Don't lose them since you will need them to put the unit back together again.
3- Once you have all these screws out a small flat screwdriver can be worked under the edge to begin separating the retaining cover from the unit. Patience and time are your friends. Impatience means new unit.
4- Once you remove the retainer you will have access to the insides of the unit. Reassembly is the reverse order

1. Make sure the TND 500 is turned on.
2. Connect the USB cable provided in the box to connect to your computer.
3. Go to your start menu, click on computer.
4. You should see two external drives if if is a T5B and one external drive if it is a T5C.
The external drives will not show up on the desktop. It is an external device just like an external hard drive. If you cannot see the external device, can you see other devices connected to the same USB port? If not, then it suggests the USB port is bad.
You can most certainly E-Mail me at [email protected] for futher technical support.
Thanks,
Mark

If it is more than a few years old then the battery is a real possibility as the problem.
