Question about Microwave Ovens
Unless the manual discusses a feature to turn it off and on, then it may be a
failed turntable motor or coupler, etc.

This is just a preliminary reply. We will need more information to help you.
So you're saying you can set the cooking time but when you press Start it won't start?
If this is the case, you probably have a bad door swithc or door switch mount.
Please reply back with more detail so we can help you.

The problem is that the magnatron is not getting power. Chance is that if could be a bolwn fuse inside the unit. If the fuse don't fix it then that leaves the charging diode, capacitor or the magnatron, or high voltage xformer of which without technical epertize I would not recomend attempting to replace. good luck

This seems to be happening to this model a lot!
We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, whichwe regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week.
Atour site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typicalover the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filamentshorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without firstunplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such afailure on the controller.
This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.
Details of our service and critical safety information and disassembly information is at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your model number) for more information & help.
We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

you may have gotten a power surge and that can cause some funny things to happen, 1st is there power to the oven, 2nd if so there may be an internal fuse protector built in to the oven, check with the manual for anything of that sort listed. if not you may have to take it in and have it repaired by a pro. there is a lot of voltage in these ovens and unless you know what you are doing a person could get hurt

The fact that the microwave and convection both do not heat indicated that the oven is in demo mode, check the user manual, otherwise it will possibly be a relay not triggering, may need a pcb replacement, check Demo mode 1st....Phil
