You need a stereo 1/8" mini phone plug to stereo RCA plugs. put the mini in the headphone jack of the iTouch, put the stereo RCAs to the aux input on the receiver.

You can use the RCA jack and an RCA cable to your aux in on your receiver.

SOURCE: Pioneer turntable Pl-560 and Pioneer Receiver VSX-D409

Magnetic phono cartridges like the one on your pioneer has an output of about .005 Volts, the standard inputs are looking for 1 to 2 volts for fulol out put, the phono preamp will step up the output voltage to 1 volt so you can play it thru a non phono input like Aux, tape or tuner.

Radio shack sells cheap ones and you will hear what you pay for.

I sell turntables and audio gear, check out www.soundsciencecat.com

Good Luck,

SOURCE: Pioneer VSX-D608 Optical connection

The manual states that the default association of each digital input in as follows:

  • Optical 1: CD
  • Optical 2: MD
  • Optical 3: TV
  • Coax: DVD
Use the "Signal select" button to set the receiver to use a digital input, and the Dolby/DTS button (above "Signal select") to enable decoding.

As samz11 stated above, a remote is required to alter the digital input mapping.

try pressing and holding 'advanced surround' and the power button. This should reset the protect circuit. If it turns off again right away, then there is a problem with the amp that needs to be repaired.

UNdefine the surround back speakers and it will be 5.1.

Sound quality issues can be anything but speakers are THE main contributors to it. Insufficient information given to evaluate what the problem is.

The power does not turn on no matter what outlet I plug it into. When I first turned it on Amp Err plashed on the screen and it clicked and shut off.

The amplifier shuts down as a protection to prevent further damage.
Most of the times it means one of the power amplifiers has malfunctioned and is causing a short.

If you have nothing connected to the speaker terminals when it's doing this you should have it repaired.
if you do have speakers connected try disconnecting them.

I have a vsx-52tx pioneer elite reciever with a light that keeps blinking. It keeps tripping while watching movies. should i get another one or is there something like resetting the reciever

I am assuming the light that is flashig is the "MCCAC" light on the front display. Supposing this is correct you have either a blown amplifier (one or mor channels) is the protection circuitry is not operating correctly. In either case the receiver has locked up to prevent any additional damage. There is a key sequience that needs to be preformed to unlock the unit so a technician can troubleshoot the problem. In most cases a blown amplifier should be in the $150.00 dollar range to get repaired. This is a fairly high end Pioneer receiver and is probably worth repairing, or at least finding out what the repair will cost.

Pioneer VSX-52 Elite Receiver Dc offset problem..

Voltages will read differently because the output voltage is wrong.
They are not FET and with all due respect, if you are not aware of what they are, you don't stand much chance of reading the service manual and affecting a repair.
Take it to an authorised Pioneer Repair Agent.

Pioneer vsx-d510 coaxial dvd connection problem

Hello,
I recommend you use an optical connection. Your VSX-D510 has only one optical input, but I believe it is assignable. Use a good optical cable and connect directly to your DVR. Follow the manual to assign the input and it should work.
Good luck
