I could not find to the manual for your particular model, however the following should be close enough. Although you have set the Comm Journal to "On" you have to set the paramater to "Always" Download the manual at: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/UF585.PDF Look at page 131. Function-6-4-start- will print a program list and if the journal your talking about prints 4 pages , thats just a log of the past 200 incoming/outgoing faxes

sounds like your firmware might be shot and it needs to be reinstalled, if your in canada i can recomend a tech
