Tips for a great answer:
This usually works.
MFC- 9440, 9840cdw Print Unable 32
Usually caused by a sticking density sensor solenoid and can easily be repaired.
Remove the rear cover
Remove the fuser
Remove the Hi Voltage PCB
Check the angled density sensor window for sticking. When you move it, it should spring right back. If it hesitates at all, repair the solenoid.
Remove the old foam and replace it with adhesive labels.
Reassemble machine and test.
