THE INTERNAL WIRE CONNECTING BOTH HEADPHONES IS BROKEN. THIS PROBABLY HAPPENED WHEN TWISTING ONE OF THE HEADPHONES TO HEAR ONLY THROUGH ONE OF THEM. TRY FEEDING EEACH HEADPHONE INDEPENDENTLY WITH ITS OWN CABLE USING ONE OF THOSE PLUGS TO SHARE MUSIC FROM SAME SOURCE.

I just recently got a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-ANC27 headphones and I've noticed that when I touch the detachable cable the sound shorts out and plays through one side of the headphones.

There is a wire in the detachable cable that is broken inside so might have to cut and rejoin the broken part.Thats why when you touch the detachable cable you happen to move the wire so sound is only transmitted to one ear phone only.

Thanks and good luck

You hear one side if I move the cable to the sides and sometimes sounds the other hand I think can be a cable cut

It's a broken wire, obviously. it's probably broken near the jack or the headphone. ur going to have to replace the cable

My JVC stereo headphone's wire is broken, cant i repair it by myself? please answer quickly because i can only hear from the right side of my headphone, and i love my music!!

If you take off the covering to reveal the speaker you can solder the connection back onto the left side of the headphones and that will fix it.

The right ear phone doesn't work but the other one does

check that the wiring in the plug is not broken. if you pull the plug out a little so that one contact in the jack contacts both sides, you will hear the dead side come on. If it does not,the wire is either broken in the plug ,or where the wire goes into the headphone.
