The same thing happened to me. It's probably your charger porter. did you somewhat yank the charger out sometime or did it fall of a table or something and the charger yanked itself out when it fell (if it fell). If that's the problem, try putting the charger in the phone & hold the charger up, worked for me. You could also try a different charger or buy a battery charger like I did. There's the link if of the battery charger if needed. I hope this helps!
Hi, to identify charger. You will need to test another charger on the cell phone and test that same charger on another phone to confirm if the charger is working.
Also after testing for the charger and and if the charger works, that means the charging port of the phone where the charger is been inserted is damaged.
It will need to be fixed.contact you local repair person for help.
Try to use or buy universal charger. Get your battery and charge it to universal charger. so that you can use your phone. This is the easy way so you can use your phone.
Hi, there are two things you will need to test for ,
The charger and the charging port.
The charger of the phone might not be contacting properly causes it to fail or loose contact, that might be the reason it needs to be position properly before it charges.
You can use another charger to see how firm it will on another phone, so that you can be able to know if you will need to replace the charger with another one.
The charger port is where you plug in the charger to the phone for the phone to be able to charge. Sometimes if the charging port is weak, itmight not be able to hold the charger properly,it will be failing contact.
Also you can use another charger to test with your phone and see how firm it holds on the phone and if it will charge the phone without failing.
I guess when you test for the charger and the charging port, problem will be solved.
Hello, when a phone does not charge, it means that the phone charger or the port at which the charger is inserted in the phone is faulty.
Might be due to dust or dirt. You can Clean charging port on the phone with a brush and alcohol to remove dirt.
After cleaning it,if still not charging, you can test charger with another phone to be sure if the charger is working. And if the charger works with another phone, that means the charging port on the phone is faulty and will need to replaced.
I advice you try get a similar charger to charge your phone, if the similar charges your phone, it means your charger is bad and will need to get another charger or the phone.
But if it did not charge and you still get the same message, it means the charging port on your phone is the problem, the charging port on your phone is bad and can not read the charger, so you will need to replace or change the charging port on your phone. Doing thi will solve the problem on your phone.
Please check the charger by plugin with some other nokia handset and check if the charger is working fine. If still it shpws not charging with other handset then change the charger as charger is not working
Why don't you use the charger to charge a similar phone or use a similar charger aside yours to charge your phone to see if it is the charger or the charging port.
If your charger charges a similar phone as yours, it means the charging port of your phone is bad.
But if it does not, the charger is the problem.
If it is the charging port, all you need to do is to replace the charging port and your phone will charge.
First, you need to check to see if the problem is with the phone - the battery - or the charger.
If you have a car charger, try to charge the phone with it. If it works, you'll need to replace your home charger.
If the car charger doesn't charge the phone - you'll either need to replace the phones battery or your home charger. (Sometimes the battery will go bad if you use a car charger not made specifically for the phone.)
If you replace your battery and it still doesn't charge you'll need to replace your home charger.
If after you've replaced the battery and the home charger and it still doesn't charge - your problem is with the phone and it will either need to be replaced or repaired.
i would test the car charger with a different phone charger in the lighter slot to make sure the lighter slot works.. if it does then it looks like you'll need to order a new charger or i call the manufacturer... double check to make sure there aren't any updates your phone may need too...d
