Hi, firstly switch the output rcas over on your amp/mixer and see if the problem stays in the left channel or has now gone to the right. If it stays in the left it is a problem with your amp/mixer. If it moves to the right the problem is in the turntable. Likely causes for turntable problems are cartridge being damaged or stylus damage. If you have another cartridge try that. Cheers john

Hi ibrahl,

I too have the same model and vintage and have been experiencing low signal problems for quiet some time now. It only became apparent when we hooked up the ps3 playTV unit and the digital channels we were having problems with on the Aquos was broadcasting fine. Both devices use the same antenna connection so its not an aerial issue.
I tried reset back to factory settings and reloaded the channels via auto but now those digital channels I had problems no longer appear on our channel list so they're gone for now. I was wondering the same thing about firmware updates but havent found anything on the Sharp website. Found this video but this model uses USB for updates">

Quiet front R channel on Sony

Does problem persist when you connect other speaker to front right channel? (i.e. when you connect your FL speaker to FR and vice versa)?

Symphonic 20" television will only get three local channels

I suspect your tv has gone back to air and should be in cable mode; you will have to go into menu where channel programming takes place. Select cable and autoprogram; it should pick up the missing channels.

All of a sudden the sound on our LCD tv has gone. We've checked all the cables are in correctly and even though the picture is perfect we have no sound. SAMSUNG SYNCMASTER 741MP

Connect the cable directly (bypassing the cablebox)and
set menu to cable channels ,
tune to channel 3 or such and do you have sound now.
if not the amp is out , you might just consider using external speakers as they will sound better anyway.
