SOURCE: oven

if it trips out after a few seconds then then you need to rewire it

if it trips out as soon as you turn it on then a cable has come loose and is touching either another cable or the metal casing in which case if you cant find it you may need another oven

it should be on a 32amp breaker with 6mm cable if its a long distance from mains to oven it should be 10mm cable covered by a either a 32 amp or 45 amp

F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.

My stove keeps tripping the mains even when its off, i tried to change the wiring but its still doing the same

If it's tripping with the oven turned off, then a "short" can exist inside the oven itself, or inside the local isolation switch, or anywhere along the cable.
If the wiring was replaced, then the fault probably exists somewhere along the internal wiring from its terminal box up to the control knobs / switches.
Call an electrician to repair or its time to buy a new oven.

Where is the fuses located on a moffat stove

There are none. It is wired into the buildings electrical panel. You have to know where the circuit breaker panel is to find a tripped breaker

Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?
