I have this problem too, I'm not sure exactly how it happened.

It's nothing to do with the format of the music file, as my songs have always worked before.

But now I have turned it on and the music just stayys on 00:00, and then eventually turns itself off, as it would do if the song were paused.

It's really frustrating as I can't find any solution.

I am going to try and download the firmware thing off of philips, and if this still fails I'm going to try and format the device then re-sync all my music.

    Such a hassle!

We all of a sudden have no sound. It's worked fine now we can't hear the downloads or the radio. We can see all the songs they just don't play.

I also have the same problem and I can confirm it has nothing to do with the propper music format. I have reset the mp3 player and tried to use the philips diagnostics and to no avail. It seems to be fully functional with the exception of not playing the song. I can also add that using the computer to directly look at the contents of the player and use windows media player to play the songs. I had my mp3 player for a total of 5 day before it broke. I bought it new from wal-mart. I should of broght it back right away but didn't. I was to lazy after work. DOH!!!

Ideally you should go to Philips and download the HDD1630/17b software and firmware and print off the instructions and redo your player

Need help puting music on ACC file

To convert music to AAC files you have to download itunes, if you dont allready have it, when you have done that play the songs you want to convert one by one in itunes, has you play them right click on the song, then right click create AAC version, when the track as been converted you will hear a bell sound, then right click again and click show in windows explorer, the songs you convert will go into a windows folder, the best way to do it is when the song goes into the folder drop and drag them onto your sd card, then as the songs go into the folder do the same, you can put them in a music file on your sd card to make it easy to open when in your dsi, when you have all the songs on your sd card, pop it into your dsi, then open the music folder and play your songs, hope this helps you cheers Roger M.

I dont know how to put music in the sd card

To add music to your DSi, first you need a spare sd card, and a pc or laptop that can sync with the card. Remember that the DSi only plays AAC type songs, so convert the songs you want to copy-paste on the card. This can be done easily on Itunes on which I use by right-clicking on the song and it will show you there ' convernt to AAC'. After saving the songs , take out the card from the pc or laptop and you can now insert the card in your DSi and play music and enjoy.

The songs are in the wrong format, or their license has expired - there is nothing wrong with the player itself; use mp3 format songs only, and you won't have any problems

Doesnt play song i click on, is it a virus?

Make sure the songs are in the right format, have transfer rights, and make sure your music subscription service is current. Or else, you will get "0:00" for all tracks.

Samsung Juke Music Issue

Had the same problem with being able to load MP3 songs onto the phone but they would not play. Elapsed song time indicator remained at 0.00.

In Windows Media Player, select Sync Menu......then Samsung Juke........then Format. The warning states that you will lose all data. This only pertains to the songs that you cannot get to work anyway. Your stored phone #'s will still be there after the reformat.

I reformatted and reloaded the MP3's and everythings now works just fine.
