My older husky sewing machine runs on a couple of threads before stoping each time, it is not the foot peddle.

...most likely it is the foot control pedal. Try your on another machine perhaps. The control pedal is the only way power can get to the motor ....

SOURCE: threading a sewing machine

What do you mean you are unable to pull the bobbin thread through, elaboration would help solve the problem...
I suspect I'm having the same problem with you if it's anything to do with the top thread looping around in the bobbin holder.

Damn machine!

SOURCE: How to thread bicor vx 1005 sewing machine?

Most older machines start the thread from the spool on a spool holder then the thread goes through a tension dial, on to another tension holder inside the case. Then make sure the thread is going through a lever that goes up and down with the needle, through a thread holder near the needle.

Husky 910 overlocker..left needle will not sew stitches...does not unthread just won't form stitches

Be sure to install a brand new needle. Verify it is the correct needle for your machine and it is installed facing the correct direction.

Remove all the thread from your machine. (Clip the threads below the thread spools, RAISE the presser foot, and gently pull all the threads DOWN through the needle--NEVER up!)
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning. Verify that you are threading each thread in the order specified in the manual--failure to do so will cause your machine to malfunction.
When threading, give each thread an extra little tug when going through the tension disk.
Set all the tensions to the midway point for a 3 or 4 thread overlock.
Test your machine.

If the left needle still fails to stitch, then your machine may need a timing adjustment.

The needle will not stay threaded every time i mash the peddle to start sewing, the needle comes unthreaded

Place the upper thread, along with your lower thread UNDER the presser foot....you may not be allowing enough thread off of the bobbin and roll. Pull out the thread to about 6 inches and see what happens, Happy Sewing!

I place the fabric on the machine, lower the foot and apply pressure to the foot peddle, when the machine begins to sew fabric is pulled down and the lower thread tangles, the machine make a crunching...

This is easily solved. Before you start sewing make sure your upper and lower threads are long enough for you to hold before lowering the presser foot. If these threads are too short they both get carried down into the bobbin along with the fabric and cause a big tangled mess. Always hold your threads at the back of your work with your left hand then lower your pressure foot and don't release the threads untill you have taken several stitches. Keep holding these threads during backstitching at the beggining of a seam too. Works like magic.

Nothng happens when I step on the foot peddle

Check the pins on the machine plug to make sure none have been pushed in, check the cables for any breaks but make sure the plug is out of the wall first, if you can undo the plug on the lead to check it all well and good, failing that take the foot control and lead into a sewing machine shop so it can be tested

Kenmore foot peddle going too fast to sew

The problem is either in the foot control or there is a short in your wiring. You can replace the foot control and hope that's where the problem is or Take it to a technician to be sure..The foot control will probably cost around $30-$50.
