Its not necessary when "Vacuum Condenser" light is blinking means That condenser is dirty. That light will come on if compressor running too long. Most common problem is that Evaporator coil in fresh food section is leaking freon. It still might keep temps ok, but compressor need to run much more to keep temperature you set. check back wall in fresh food section on left side at the middle, behind drawers. if you see moisture in one spot or a little bit of ice build up, then You will need to call people who can replace evaporator. It is pretty expensive fix. I made video how it looks to repair this problem. Thanks.

Yes but this will create a dusting nightmare for the rest of the house. By just cleaning the condenser is not enough for the computer has no knowledge of said act. You must rest the computer after cleaning, your model has a picture of a bell on the panel of the control. Push and hold that bell for 10 seconds, you should hear a beep and the service light will disappear. If this returns, this means either the condenser is dirty or the computer has detected that it takes too long to reach your desired temp. But reset first, less work and see what happens.

You can use a chemical degreaser on the condenser, just be sure to unplug the unit and put paper towels down around it to absorb the grease and cleaner, and let it air out well before plugging it back in and turning it on. Water wont help anything if its grease buildup. if your fridge is not cooling, it's most likely some other problem though. it's very rare that a dirty condenser causes cooling issues on a 690 Good Luck!

It is perfectly normal for the refr door on a side by side Subzero to stick out a little further than the freezer door. That light could mean several things. If you have vacuumed the condenser then you should call a repairman to look at it.

It is likely the condenser fan is not functioning. You may need to open the compressor access panel to check. If you can hear the compressor running, and the condenser feels warm, the fan should be running. If it isn't, it probably needs to be replaced. Another symptom is the area around the doors feels warm.

That light comes on when the unit is running more than normal to maintain temperature. Have you vacuumed the condenser coil at the top right of the unit? It could be that simple. There is also a fan up top to move air thru the condenser that may be stalling out and not circulating air. The most expensive cause would be a sealed system issue such as a refrigerant leak. With a replacement cost somewhere around $10,000 you may just be better of locating your local authorized service center.

MOST LIKELY FRIDGE SECTION IS LOW ON FREON! "VACUUM CONDENSER" WILL COME ON IF COMPRESSOR RUNS MORE THAN IT SHOULD BE. COMMON THING IS LEAKING EVAPORATOR COILS IN FRESH FOOD SECTION. CHECK MY VIDEO, I HOPE IT HELPS.

Is this still an issue as this post is a month old? Was the computer cleared after cleaning? If not, hold the (bell) button for 10 seconds and you should heard a beep. This will clear the computer (the fault from the screen). If it returns you may have a cooling issue only the computer noticed, you made need a service tech to look at this. But only if this continues.
