This attaches to my bobbin case in Janome new home ml3023 sewing machine. It has stopped stitches forming since the small part (like a curvy d) has snapped. What is this part and can I order it?

If the part actually attaches to the bobbin case, you might try purchasing a replacement bobbin case for your machine. If it's attached to something else in the bobbin area, you may need to take it to a sewing repair shop to see if they can get the part for you or repair it.

My bottom bobben keeps getting stagged why. Everytime i try the bobbin keeps getting stagged

a. Remove the bobbin case and bobbin and clean this area thoroughly. Use a qtip to clean area of dust and dirt.
b. Put a drop of oil on the race (part that bobbin case sits on) It rotates around the bobbin.
c. Adjust bobbin. Attached instructions.
d. Replace needle with a needle appropriate for the thread size.
e. Adjust needle thread to four. It may need to be adjusted up or down some to insure a beautiful stitch. While threading do it with the pressure foot up so you can notice of any snags. These are serious problems that must be fixed. Use only thread that doesn't have fuzz on it. (Shine in light)
f. Use a sample material to check for the stitch appearance. Make slight adjustments to notice how the stitch appearance changes. Use the best!

Needle moving while trying to load bobbin and it wont spin

I assume you are trying to wind the bobbin. Sounds like the lever is not disengaging the needle head. If you \'ve had the machine a while, you may have the part under the bobbin winding area clogged up with thread lint and gunk. Get a penlight and try to see in the slit that the bobbin holder pokes through. You may need to take the cover off. If you do, then unplug the machine, remove the cover, and move the bobbin winder on and off and watch the other levers attached to it.

I have a Futura XL-400 and when I am embroidering it keeps breaking the thread at the needle area. I hear a noise which sounds like its coming from the bobbin arean then the thread breaks and its also

try these suggestions
change the needle
check the needle plate for burrs

Skipped stitches
1. The needle is not inserted correctly
Remove needle & reinsert needle( flat side towards the back of machine)
2. The needle is damaged
replace with new needle
3. The wrong size needle is being used
Choose a needle to suit the thread & fabric
4. The foot not attached correctly
Check & attach correctly

Spring come of in bobbin area bernette 60

Without knowing which springs are involved, I cant really help - there are a number of springs in the machine associated with the hook drive and the feed regulator, so if its not obvious where the springs are attached, your best bet is to try and get a manual for the machine.

Janome memory craft 6500 sewing machine...all of a sudden, the bobbin thread does not attach itself to the needle thread...i have taken off the plate, cleaned out the dust, rethreaded both top and bottom...

Has the bobbin case dislodged and moved? there should be two red marks one on the bobbin case and one on the outer holder, are they lining up? Sometimes as these cases are held by a magnet, they will get dislodged and move slightly, especially in a jam up.
Take out the bobbin case and clean under it, then replace it matching up the red marks.

If the bobbin case has actaully been struck by the needle during a dislodgement, it may well pierce the bobbin case plastic, look for burring or marks on the outer flange area. If this has occured, the thread may catch on the burr as it comes over the bobbin and jam again.

You can buy a new bobbin case if yours is damaged or maybe just file the burring with an emery board (remove it from the machine first of course).

Lastly, check your needle hasn't been bent, burred, or put in backwards, any of these can prevent a stitch from forming.

If all the above fails, then it is possible that the timing has been knocked out and you will need to get it serviced by a technician.

My daughter tried to remove a jammed bobbin on my singer machine. The bobbin holding mechanism fell apart. Is there a diagram to show how the parts fit together?

looking straight on at the area where assembly goes, First clean and oil area, the jam was likely caused by accumulated dust or a small piece of thread . You should have three pieces, four including the bobbin itself. first piece to be replaced has a center post this piece goes into the machine by fitting it to the bobbin area, it will only go in one way so when it fits into place you will know. the next piece is a ring this piece has a small piece of metal attached to the top when looking at it correctly the two screws will be on top and there should be two indentions. first one is at 3 oclock and the other is at 9 oclock fit this piece into machine and there should be a lever on either side that turns around and rests in to indentions. replace your bobbin in the bobbin case ,be sure to thread the case correctly and load into newly assembled bobbin area making sure that it clicks into pplace

The needle will move but bobbon wont spin

If the mechanism that the bobbin case it attached to doesn't move at all, you have a problem in the drive system of the machine. Either a screw has loosened in one of the gears or in the linkage to the bobbin area from the top of the machine. Unfortunately a trip to your service tech will be needed.

Bernina 180 Bobbin case spinning

Its called the bobbin stopper. Pop off your needle plate by pressing on the marked corner. In the back on the left you will see a small allen screw which must have come loose. Position the bobbin stopper in place and tighten that screw. If it already is tight, loosen it and reposition the bobbin stopper in the notch and tighten it back up.
Good luck.
