My greenfield 42" fastcut started to stall when engaging the electromagnetic clutch for the blades. There's nothing in the way anything. Everything is spinning freely. Has me stumped what it could be

low voltage to the ignition system when you engage the pto , the battery supply to the ignition is diverted and the ignition voltage falls below what id required to keep the engine running
the problem is in the voltage regulator or charge circuit

Disc removal

The button does not disengage the blade, it only locks the blade/motor from spinning so you can remove the locking nut. Lock the spindle/motor/ blade, from moving and then remove the locking nut or disk. Should be counter-clockwise.

Cuisinart DLC-7--blade stuck--cannot remove from bowl.

First off, is it a BLADE that's stuck, or a DISC?
If it's a disc, and the disc is blocking your access to the center post, put a ziploc baggie full of ice on top of the disc (right in the middle) and let it sit for about half an hour. That should shrink the plastic enough to pop it out.

If it's a blade, you can try the ice trick, or you can try Pam (or another food grade cooking spray) to loosen it up, and then just try to take the workbowl off like you usually would (aka, DO NOT grab the blade, or you'll risk cutting yourself--you can just pull up on the bowl, and the blade should pop off.

If you need further help, you can always contact Cuisinart--their phone number (according to their website, www.cuisinart.com ) is 1 800 726 0190

Good luck! :)

Remove cutting blade

take the blade disc off the mower, you should have the nuts on the top of the disc for the blades, put the disc on the ground and remove the nuts on the blades.
Replace the blades with the new ones and fit the disc back under the mower
