Bugaboo Bee Front Wheel Jitters

The Bugaboo Bee gets a lot of complaints about the front wheels flapping around causing a jittery ride. Their have been reports of the strollers wheels turning 90 degrees and stopping the stroller dead! There is a simple fix. Just unclip the front wheels and fit a rubber washer over the metal post the wheel clips on to. I have heard of rubber bands being used! All you are doing is adding a bit of extra friction making the front wheel turning action more predictable.

Hi, we have a bugaboo cameleon and now the front wheels is not working smoothly and I can see a lot of hair stucked on it, may I know how to how to remove the hair stuck on the front wheel

The wheels are held in by 8 mm domed star lock washers they are supposed to be used only one time. You can pry them off with a couple screwdrivers then the axel can be taped out using a large nail as a punch. If this sounds all to hard just pop down to your local bike shop. They should be able to pop it out, clean and lubricate the axel and reassemble in a quarter hour.

On my bugaboo bee 2009 model the rear wheel makes a grinding noise gets worse if on a pavement that is slightly bummpy can anyone help please?

There has been a lot of complaints about the Bee's wheels on the internet including Bugaboo's own Face Book page! Your Bugaboo is ether in or only just out of the 2 year Warranty so contact Bugaboo customer service about getting a replacement set. The rear wheels are held by Hex nuts and are easy to remove with a small hex key any hardware shop can sell you. I use Silicon grease (as used to lubricate taps) when I repair stroller wheels. I think the Bee is a neat little Stroller and my wife has one but it really is only a Shopping Mall Stroller and those little wheels won't tolerate to much rough suburban footpaths.

How can I stop my P&T front wheel from wobbling all over the place. It doesn't give a smooth ride?

I don't think that's possible. the front wheel usually doesn't have a lot of pressure on it, so its a little bit in the air some times, and that's what makes the wheel wobbling.

try to put something heavy in the front of the stroller, that could smooth it out a little

My LG over the range microwave makes a rattling noise when I am cooking. The sound is not there is the item I am microwaving is heavy.

This may sound a bit nuts, but remove the glass tray and support ring. Clean the wheels and ring. Also clean the glass and microwave surface where the wheels run. Any tiny bit of debris will stop the wheels from turning, and make a rattling noise.
If that doesn't help, you may need a new turntable motor.

Where do i go online or whats the best place to go to purchase just 2 wheels for my maclaren quest stroller

I'm not sure where you are based. I know there is a person on eBay UK that sells the wheels. You can replace them yourself a little tricky to get the star nut off the wheel.

He tends to sell lots of Maclaren bits new if you do a search you will find him.

How do you make the wheels swivel on the micro stroller. They appear to be fixed and I don't want to break it by forcing it?

if you look at the front wheel's there will be a little plastic clasp inbetween both push it the opposite way to which it's set and they will swivel

On my stroller there is a little plastic piece just above the front wheels.  If you push it to the left it will lock the wheels.  Push it back to the right to unlock the wheels.  You may have to push a little hard to move it.
