Question about GE GTH18JBR Top Freezer Refrigerator
My freezer is going into overdrive; the fridge is luke warm. I see 2 holes in the roof of the fridge that appear to be the ducts to bring the cold air down; both were frozen. I attempted to de-ice with a hairdryer. One now has a small amount of airflow but the other still does not have any air coming through it. The freezer damper will not go below the number 3 (9 is the coldest). Could the damper be stuck?
There is a problem with the defrost system of the fridge. take the back of the freezer of and use your hair dryer there. if you are handy with an ohm meter i could tell you how to trouble shoot the defrost from there. let me know.
