Note: Be sure to connect the Remote Turn-On from the Sony Xplod (Blue/White) to the Amplifier's Remote Terminal. All that's left is to connect the 12-volt power wire to the Amplifier's Power Terminal and a Ground wire to the Amplifier's Ground Terminal. Also, switch the FAI-3A to Line Out using the switch on the left side of the device, and ground the FAI-3A using the device's ground wire.

If you need any more help, let me know.

What can be connected to te audio output jacks on the back of this set?

You didn't include make and model TV; so only generalized answers are possible.

Typical RCA phono jacks like those shown in the blue box of the stereo amplifier below:

25998201-ac5bgneb45fvu53muoueauti-3-0.jpg will accept cables to connect to other audio devices. The audio RCA jacks are color coded RED (right) and WHITE (left) for low level stereo signals. Some have YELLOW jacks for Standard Definition video, ORANGE jacks for AC3 Digital audio and newer amps have HDMI jacks.

Connect the TV's audio OUTPUT jacks and a stereo pair of unused audio INPUT jacks on the amplifier with cables that have ends that match each. Turn on the stereo & TV and select the input on the amplifier that matches the stereo pair of inputs you used to connect to the TV. Adjust the volume to hear the audio over your stereo system's speakers.

Use the HDMI or AC3 sources for superior audio - including 5.1 (or better) Dobly Digital when possible. Otherwise, a standard 2 channel stereo program will be heard.

I hope this helps & good luck!

I am getting engine noise? i have a mono block amp for my bass and another amp for my mids. How do I hook up the stinger SGN20 ground loop isolator?

It goes between the source and the amplifier , I don't know if it will work with guitar pickups, but no harm in trying. Also designed for stereo, but you could try dual mono I suppose. Not sure if that will work either but here are the instructions. You will need 2 mono female Jack to male RCA and 2 mono female RCA to male Jack adapters, (unless your guitar output is stereo in which case you will need 1 stereo Jack to 2 RCA etc. Good luck, it might work but I don't think it was designed for the use you have in mind. Will you let us know how you get on?

Where are the amps and how do i by pass them for the stereo

The amps are located inside the radio. Most in-dash receivers that provide for "pre-amp outputs" also called "low level outputs" do so by providing female RCA type jacks. These are often found at the end of a short (4 - 6 inch) cable and are usually color coded red & white or red & black (some receivers provide a yellow RCA jack for video in / out, too). To use these RCA audio jacks, you need to realize that one jack is for the left channel source and the other is for the right channel source for a stereo signal. You will have to connect a compatible plug and cable of enough length to extend to a remote amplifier's RCA input jacks. The vehicle's speakers would also need to be connected directly to the same amplifier's output terminals. Using the two audio (left and right) RCA jacks will only allow the radio to control balance of the left and right audio, no fader (front and rear) control is possible. To get fader control, you'd have to either have a radio with four RCA low level output jacks (front L & R *and* rear L & R), or use the radio's speaker (or high level output) wires and connect them to the amplifier's speaker (or high level) input terminals.

All unused receiver wires should be terminated in a wirenut or securely wrapped in electrical tape to prevent accidental contact with grounded metal or other wires behind the dash.

I hope this helps!

How Do I Wire An Amp To A Factory Stereo Without Rca Jacks

Hello jon101478,

Purchase a line output converter (LOC) such as the PAC SNI-45T shown here. Tap the LOC inputs into your rear channel speakers and run RCA's from the LOC to your amp. The unit shown in the link also has a trigger wire that you connect to the remote terminal of your amp. You can get a cheaper LOC and just run a switched 12V source to the amp if you wish.

Hope this helps.

Im tryin to hook my speakers to my computer

I don't have a picture to show you but will tell you the easiest way.
There is a cable that has headphone jack on one end and two rca jacks on other end. The headphone jack goes to computer and the rca jacks go to your stereos input jacks. Then turn on your stereo and set it to the input setting. That is all there is to it.

My amplifier has one pair of rca inputs. radio only has 1 output

Subwoofer signals should be MONO - not stereo (hence the single Component out on the radio)
Only use one RCA to send signal to your amplifier.

If you use a Y splitter - the signal voltage will be cut in half - deteriorating the quality, and therefore amplifying "dirty" signal.

No stereo signal out from yamaha p 2500 s

It's unclear what type of connectors are on the end of the cables(s) coming from your computer.

This amp only works with mono 1/4" TRS and XLR connectors, not standard RCA connectors.

Did you try the Right one in the Left Channel to see if the Left Channel worked?

Refer to the following manual and read up on the connectors (page 7) and the use of the Stereo/Parallel/Bridge Switch (page 8). When it is NOT in Stereo Mode the unit only uses the Right Channel controls and input.

http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pdf/man/m_480824.pdf

STEREO/PARALLEL/BRIDGE switch
Use this switch to select the operating mode.
• STEREO mode
Channels A and B operate independently (as with a conventional
stereo amplifier). The Channel A input goes to the Channel
A output jacks, and the Channel B input goes to the
Channel B output jacks.
• PARALLEL mode
The Channel A input signal is output through both the Channel
A and Channel B output jacks. The Channel B input jacks do
not function. Channel A and B volumes can be independently
adjusted.
• BRIDGE mode
The Channel A input signal is output from the BRIDGE output
jacks. To adjust the volume, you must use the Channel A volume
control knob.
