DVR won't set a timer to record a show

-   I have a 510 receiver, and I have the same problem. Every week to 10 days, the schedule disappears. If I go to the Timers list, all the timers are there. I have to edit each timer (e.g., change a Once to a Weekly, save, then change it back to a Once) and it will reappear on the schedule and record. This is fine for another week or so. I called Dish Network and they said they were unaware of the problem and would have the engineering department look into it. I see online that others have the problem, so my suggestion is that you call Dish Network and report it. My guess is it's a software problem, and they'll only fix it if they get complaints. -   aepyceros
