You might want to try lowering the squelch level. If set too high it won't let signal pass.

Senheiser freeport no sound

If it seems as though the transmitter signal is being received but there is no audio, disconnect the 3 or 4 pin connector of the mic and touch the different pins while transmitting to the receiver. If there is audio hum or buzz, the mic itself is probably dead. A wire could be off inside its connector.

Re Sennheiser presentation set Model No 21101 - I have no power to my receiver. The unit is plugged in to the mains and the socket is live as I have checked it by plugging in a table lamp which works fine....

The AC to DC "wall-wart" power supply is defective. Take the original to Radio Shack and have them sell you a replacement. No, RS isn't probably the quality of the original Sennheiser, but it will get you through your gig. PLEASE note the polarity of the tip-to-sleeve and match it up identical to the original power supply.

Bodypack sends no signal, turn switch from inst to

It sounds like the solder joints on the circuit board in the body pack are starting to fail or the switch is starting to fail. If you don't want to fix this yourself or it is still under warranty you might be better off taking it back to the dealer to have it replaced or repaired.
