Many electronic devices have a schematic glued to the inside or the housing. Usually viewable through a service panel.

Check the capacitors in the power supply, check for any bulged tops. Your problem is most likely power supply related.

Its physically different shape will probably require you to modify your case to accept a conventional power supply. Just did a quick search and found an Ebay active sale and an on-line store that had your power supply for a reasonable amount. That might be a more reasonable alternative for you.
