Are you sure tube is bad and that projecion fluild isnt contamiated if tube lights up but you can not see a picture clearily or at all fliuld is bad remove old fluid replace with new problem FIXED Call Mats for projection fluild 1-800-628-1118

If may be a power supply or ballast issue. The ballast feeds power into the lamp and it may not have enough power, or may not be able to FEED enough power into the lamp after it ignites it. That would account for the dim picture.

Your model doesnt have a bulb since its a rear projection TV . It has three picture tubes, However loss of video with audio still working is usually caused by a vertical output failure.
