please check with your head cleaning and also your ink cartridges. if low replace and reset. If fault is still on, then reinstall the printer software and restart. . Please also check on your connection cords. See if any paper is jammed or is obstructing the mechanism, check carefully. i hope you get this fault. good day

How to make reset for sc 544 for Ricoh Aficio SP 9100DN


Reseting SC 544 error code on Ricoh copier
Press CLEAR MODE(yellow) key,
Press 1 , 0 , 7
Press and hold down CLEAR/STOP (red) key for more 5 sec.
Press in the SP Mode( on the touch pane)
Go to sp5810 and reset SC code
Open the front door turn OFF the power main switch, and turn it ON

Heating roller overheat 1 (hardware error)
During stand-by mode or a print job, the detected heating roller
temperature reaches 220 °C.
Defective PSU
Defective IOB
Defective BCU
Defective fusing control system

Copier error code 221


We are assuming that you are talking about Error Code SC 221
This code is a Scan length detection problem.
1.Disconnected Sychronization Detector
2.Bad LD-Unit/BICU Board

SOLUTION: Replace the Laser Diode & Laser Sync detect board
