Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: lost the Driver for Linksys PCI wireless adapter, model wmp 54g

Go to your Device Manager and on the right side look and find Network Adapters. Expand the Network Adapter by clicking on it so you can see your Wireless Network Adapter. If it has a yellow exclamation on it then you need to install the correct driver, if it doesn have that exclamation the it may already have the correct driver. It may also be disabled ( red X) so enable it.

Check the wireless connection properties. On the "General" tab and in the middle look for and find "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" . Highlight it and click "properties". Make sure here that if you have set-up your router to connection type of DHCP that "Obtain IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are the only ones checked.

Will Wireless pci card pkw-wmp11-v27 driver windows 7 driver work for windows xp

Hi
The following link takes you to the wmp-11 page on the linksys website.
http://support.linksys.com/en-eu/support/adapters/WMP11
The User guide doesn't mention Win7 at all, but since this webpage has various links to details for your kit, I would suggest that rather than trying to use a Win7 driver with XP, download the proper XP driver from this site and use this. It'll probably save time and frustration!!!
Cheers

Fitted a Linksys-g 2.4 ghz pci adapter to my kids pc, take make their PC wireless, installed the correct drivers after researching what these were on the internet and all ok. Changed ISP and no longer...

If your modem(the device given by your ISP) connected the linksys router on WAN port just power down all devices and power on modem and make sure all lights are on and then power on linksys router. This should fix most problems. If no luck connect your computer to modem directly and check if you are able to log on to internet! If your modem is not working then your ISP is the best option to call!

Describe your Linksys 2.4 GHz 802.11b Wireless - B PCI Adapter Problem where is the network key locaded

The network key is actually programmed into the wireless access point you are trying to connect to. You need you provide your network connection with that code in order for the adapter to get permission to connect to the router.

Unless you are connecting to an unsecured connection - then you don't need a key at all.

I need to download and brun the drivers for linksys wirless-b pci adapter model no:wmp11

Hi l4armijo,

The driver for the wmp11 can be downloaded at the following web address:

http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1166859909276&packedargs=sku%3D1115416828235&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=0927628235B03&displaypage=download

Simply choose which version of the adapter you have (the version number is printed on the adapter itself), and the page will give you the option of downloading the driver or running the Linksys Quick-Install program that's right for your operating system.

I hope this helps - please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
