Open the original document and use page setup and print preview (from the File menu) to modify the text until it fits on the page.
Otherwise, you may access the printer properties and preferences from the control panel, printers and faxes...

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

My Kyocera fs-1118MFP is cutting off top margin of all documentscopy or print. How do I fix, plz help.

I don't know that machine but generically, the description suggests a faulty drum or fuser unit...

How many prints or copies since either or both were changed, please?

Tip

Top margin, header page, the print is changed (lowered).

If you print and the top margin is altered (low), look at the figure below.

Kyocera FS 4000 DN printer stops printing for no reason.

Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.

Kyocera Mita FS 1010 every few days it prints out all the pages

Format the harddrive, or go to the properties and change the setting that says leave copy on the harddrive, if all this not working try to initialize the memory and you will be fine.
double check on the driver properties check if it says direct printing or it keeps any copy on the machine.

Huge Margin with Kyocera FS 1000+

If the FS-1000 prints too far down the page or leave too much top margin or leaves a gap at the top of the page etc (<- for google searches). This is a problem with the felt pads on the three solenoids/clutch electro magnets that are under the right panel (2 under the engine/button board, 1 under the inner plastic cover, sometimes 4 in total on other kyocera printers). They get compressed over time meaning the metal leavers come into contact with the solenoid meaning they are released too slowly. Simply replace the felt pads with .5mm cardboard or another non-sticky non-metallic material. Too thick and it prints too far up the page.

Kyocera FS1010 first page only half printed

I found this solution. Worked a treat. I took the printer apart and applied felts to the solenoids (the felt normally used for the bottom of cup coasters).

This manual helped too...

A solution has been found. Thank you to Steveauh (Townsville)

Kyocera in their wisdom have used a foam insulator on the 3 solenoids that disintegrates over time regardless of use.

  1. Open the right side of the printer
  2. Disconnect all connections to engine board
  3. Remove engine board
  4. Remove plastic guard (white)
  5. remove all 3 solenoids
  6. Replace all pads on the solenoids that come up against stops
Registration Solenoid has 2 pads (1 against the solenoid frame and the other on a stop arm, the others just the frame pad)
  7. Keep thickness to around .4 - .5mm Too thick on register arm will cause early printing.
  8. Reassemble

And that is it. The arms were being magnetically delayed due the metallic contact. It seems to be a regular problem in this chassis FS1000 to FS1030.
