I got stuck on the instruction that says: connect mp to pc, which I did, (and see that its still posting the usuale System loading) then the next instruction says to copy and paste( I know how to do this) copy and paste to the Root of YP-T8. That I dont have a clue on how to do this and do require some assistance please before I go nuts I'm an old man and dont know much on pc's. Thank you in advance

Ok you need to know exactly what model number player you are using as there are three versions of the YP-T8. * YP-T8A * YP-T8X * YP-T8Z Once you know that then you go to the samsung site and download the appropriate driver. Looks something like this: FM/200611/ Once you do that you have to unzip or extract the file. Windows should do this automatically. According to the directions you then take the files that it unzips and put them on your mp3 player. So connect your mp3 player to the computer via that usb cable. It should show up as a Removable Device under My Computer. Find the files you just extracted. Should be YP_T8.fnt, YP-T8.rom and YP-T8.img You then simply copy those files into the mp3 player which is that new removable device drive. The root folder is the first area you see when you first explore the drive. i.e. any folder you see on that mp3 player when you double click on it is actually a sub-folder and not the root folder. So open it up and copy those files right there. After which you then do as the directions say. Unplug the mp3 player, power it off and then connect your charger. It says it will automatically upgrade the firmware and then automatically turn on so it should just be a waiting game at that point. Good luck!

Just got the iPod Touch 3rd gen 8GB model - trying to surf the net - why does it take so long to load a site? eg. tried and - takes forever

you must remember that is a portable device and will not load fast like a computer, and the sites you are trying to visit may not have a mobile version and iphone and ipod touch does not support flash.

I need to download free music onto my mp-c848 for free and I dont know how to do it or what web site to go to

there are a few ways that i'm sure you will be able to use and never fail.
u can download a software called "Frostwire" and download songs that way. its just like limewire but better.
also u can go to a website and download songs that way. the domain address is "". for this one just click the mp3 tab nd type in ur search words. then click on the link nd it will play the song if it works. and no it doesnt open up annoying extra browsers that take forever to load. if it works, let the whole song get buffered before you right click "download" below the link nd play bar. than left click either "save as" or "save link as" or "save target as" and then continue like your saving a picture from the web.

System loading. . . forever

Yes. Open up the hatch to where the USB jack is. Either below it or on top of it is a small opening that has a small white buton there. Hold it for ten seconds with a pin or something, then see if it works. If not, download sme firmware for your ypt8. Go on the samsung site, they should have some available (it might take a little searching, though). Hope I'm not too late!
