Question about Panasonic NIA56NR NI-A56NR Iron
Four year old Panasonic NI-R71NR does not heat up. Where should I start checking?
Most iron cases can not be seperated from the iron plate but, if you can take off the bottom plate you will see a heating element and attached to that a small cylinder it has a point on one side and a flat end on the other it is called a thermal fuse and radioshack sells them
they are made in different versions so take the fuse in to get the right one clip it back in and your iron should work again
