Husqvarna 266se everything is brand new piston, rings cylinder carb coil muffler and it still won't start even checked the timing it is set right

did you replace the worn out seals on the crank shaft?
if not then the compression made when the piston comes down into the sump to push the mixture up in to the cylinder is lost and there is no air to compress for the next power stroke
when the piston goes back up , the low pressure in the sump sucks air past the worn seals and not an air/fuel mix
probably the reason that you thought that you had to replace the rings and piston in the first place

What is oil capacity of unidentified chainsaw?

I would suggest draining the oil sump and measuring it as you re-fill it. Use measuring devices with oz or ml increments. I don't see your question as relevant though. When a guy is cutting wood, you just fill up the oil and gas and cut. There's no measuring required. Of course I understand there is probably another reason for the question as posted...

Chainsaw rattles when it stops

personally too much hassle prefer Stihl Chainsaw more reliable Seizing is caused by lack of lubrication, First check all level has oil pump seized or is it sump type when running oil circulates all way round, Still there has to be a oil reservoir if this is bone dry theres your problem the rattling is metal on metal with no protection and the damage is seizing caused by lack of oil I have two chainsaws both have oil sumps and are kept full, please check hope this helps

Bar oil leaks out when not in use

There will always be an amount of bar oil leakage when the saw is not in use, this is due to leakage through the tank breather, and oil caught up in areas of the saw which drain when the saw is stood, if there is not enough saw dust to dry the oil up ( this can happen useing long bars, but only cutting small logs ), if the oil leakage is not excessive i would suggest this is normal. The oiling is a constent loss system, so is not sealed as well as a car sump for example.

Oil will not feed to chain.sump is full.

The out let hole can get plugged with sawdust. Drain sump, remove chain and bar.Wrap a clean rag around a compressed air nozzle and pump in some air,not recommended for plastic sumps. You can use a piece of wire or a small dull drill bit or a torch tip cleaner from a welding supply.

What is the gas- oil mix to use for fuel?

Check the cap on the fuel tank normally for chainsaw 40:1 or 50:1 this additional oil is the only lubricant these engines get as they are 2-stroke & do not have a sump of oil for the engine.the other oil is only to lubricate the chain & bar & uses a tacky oil . only mix small amounts of gas for use as it goes stale.
