Your laptop is fully charged. Try using it for awhile without the charger and then charge again to see the readings.

Acer timelinex 5830t laptop batterij

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

Acer 4810 tz is like dead. I cant turn it on anymore, neither with battery (charged) nor without.. Please help! Antonio

There is an easy fix solution that works most times when your PC/Laptop suddenly does not turn on. Dont ask why or how but follow it.
1. Disconnect all the power supply, that is remove the adapter cable and remove the battery.
2. Press and Hold the power button for 10 to 20 Seconds(very important 10 secs at least)
3. Put back the battery and connect the power adapter and try switching on your laptop.

Acer Aspire 5738Z won't hold charge

Sorry. It seems that your battery is dead.
If your laptop is working fine on AC power only (with the battery disconnected), then your battery will need to be replaced.

Battery fully charged but still shutting down when disconnected from mains

Find another battery it says like the one you have is faulty. If you try another known good battery and that fails just like yours then try a know good ac adaptor. If that fails, then its a problem with the motherboard not charging batteries properly but it really does sound like a faulty battery from my experience.

Won't power up

Someone suggested to me that there might be a static charge on the motherboard.  They had me disconnect everything from the laptop including the battery and to hold the power button down for 30 sec.  After this I reconnected the a/c power cord and pressed the power button and it started right up!
