Question about Krups Dolce Gusto KP 2100 Espresso Machine

Open Question

Nespresso Aeroccino 3 (3194-AU-BK) milk frother will no longer froth milk. It starts and then stops with a red flashing light. Its clean (does not have burnt milk on the bottom), is not "over filled" and I'm using full-cream milk. Any suggestions how to fix it? Its been working perfectly for the past a 8 months...? Thanks

The frother doesn't froth. I start with cold milk fill it to the hot froth line and push. The red circle lights up and whirls around, but when it stops there is no froth

I have tried tilting mine slightly, just a 20c peice under one edge of the base put enough of a lean on it to make the milk froth. Shouldn't have to do this, I know. I am having similar issues becasue I don't think I should have to alter the unit. Mine is 2 weeks old.

What does a blue light mean on my aerochino? thanks.

Means you are not heating your milk, the frothing milk will be cold (for iced drinks) because you have held the button down longer than normal. Usually it takes 5 Seconds for the blue light to go on. try turning it on or pushing the button faster, It should turn on red, for heated and frothed milk.

Press the and hold the button for 5sec or longer until the light turns blue. That will get you cold froth.

My Nespresso milk frother did not come with instructions. Is there some way to froth but not heat the milk?

they make one that has the option of frothing milk hot or cold. Blue light is cold. Red light is hot. The red light will always heat the milk. To get to the blue light, you need to hit the button twice.( First will go to red)

Red light flashes

It means that the paddle has come off of its post and thus is no longer frothing the milk.
