    Hi all,

Excuse me for "I ask and I answer myself", but I'm going through here just to share the circuit diagram (schematic) for Boss PSA adapter because I know that many people need to repair their damaged fonts but can not get the original wiring diagram.

Where can I down load a manual for the PSA650MT-120 WHEN IT SWITCHES TO BATTERY BACKUP IT BEEPS AT TWO SECOND INTERVALS

Hi
Most of what I found on this subject was not helpful, but here:
http://www.emersonnetworkpower.com/documentation/en-us/brands/liebert/documents/discontinued%20product%20documents/sl-23270qs.pdf
I found a document with what looked a comprehensive table of lights and beeps and their corresponding meaning. It was clear to me that whilst under battery power a regular beeping was normal, although the timing looks a bit different to your experience.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

It seems that when you engage the recording mode, the RC 3 draws too much power and resets itself. Does it work on battery power? If so, then I'd check the power connector for good fit and for corrosion, and I'd check the adapter for proper voltage, polarity and current. Do you have a "PSA series" AC adapter? If not, then check the fine print on the adapter you have for Output, and make sure it's 9V and also that it says 100mA or higher. The Boss PSA can output 500mA and can usually drive 5-6 pedals with the right breakout cable. And I suppose you already have this, but just in case you want to RTFM: Boss RC-3 Manual.pdf 8-)

My psa 120 t goes to ground and make an elictrical noise just like you unplugged your guitar and the amp is turn on

Sure that the problem is the PSA adapter? When it occurs? When everything is connected (guitar, amplifier and pedals) and you try to turn on the electricity in the PSA?

My MT-2 wont distort my guitar.

A few things to try....

Usually the adapter will over ride the battery when used.
1) Make sure your 1/4" cables are working properly without the pedal "in-line".

2) Take out battery, and use just the adapter only. Make sure it is the correct and proper adapter that works with Boss. Usually the PSA-120. If you are not using a Boss Adapter, make sure yours is a direct replacement with same specifications. 9V/200mA. And "tip negative". DO NOT use Radio Shack stuff, nothing against them, but there adapters just don't mix well with Boss products and the like.

2) Try just the battery, no AC adapter. Remember to unplug the input when not in use. Saves battery.

Basic rule of thumb...when using correct AC adapters for all your pedals all the time, and all sounds good, then take out the batteries.

If you still experience problems, it would be an internal IC chip most likely. From there post another question maybe.

It is likely that the power supplys have blown diodes or capacators
and there is too much ac in the signal ,
or the power supplys you have don't have enough wattage to power the units cleanly. did they ever work.
instead of using a power supply with 300ma or so use one that has 500ma or better 1 amp even.
