Are there any error messages when the install fails? If not where does it fail and how?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

it could be that the video card is not powerful enough or that you need to update the version of direct x that you have. Check your version of direct x by going to start, run (on the right hand side) and type in dxdiag and press enter, the first screen that will be displayed will have your version of direct x. If it is not as high as 9c then I suggest that you download direct x 9c from microsofts website or run a search in google for it. Download it and this will update your directx. Secondly when you are in the dxdiag program check under the display tab and make sure that 3d features are enabled. If they are not or you do not have this option (because it is greyed out), then you may need to upgrade your graphics card.
I hope this helps

The problem is that the auto-run isn't working with Vista. Say no when it asks if you want to import pictures. Go into "My Computer" right click on the CD and choose open. Then find the file called "setup" or something like that, and open it.

Go to "My Computer" icon that is on your desktop, double click on that, and you should see the icon of your game under the correct CD Rom letter.
Double click, and it should start.

SOURCE: Hi, The game, Nancy Drew: Danger
The first thing you should try, is to update both JAVA and Flash. If it uses those, that is likely the issue.
Here are the links:
Be sure to uncheck the boxes that install toolbars. Also, it wouldn't hurt to make sure that Windows is up to date. Click the Start button, click All Programs, and then click Windows Update.
