I can't find how to turn off the date/time option

I have a Pink Polaroid i735 7.0 megapixles. My previous camera had the option to disable the time and date showing up on the pictures. I'm trying to do that with this one, but I don't see where it gives me the option to disable it, just to set the date and time.

Here's the user guide for your camera:

http://www.polaroid.com/service/userguides/digital/cameras/i735_ug_en.pdf?bcsi_scan_69F746E637E7AC47=0&bcsi_scan_filename=i735_ug_en.pdf

And the short and skinny answer is:

1) Set the camera to Still Image mode.
2) Press the little flower icon or the flash icon button to select (Date Stamp)
3)Press ^ and v button to select the desired setting.

It'll make more sense if you download the user guide and then go to page 52 of the .pdf manual.

Let me know how it turns out! Have fun!

How to turn off time/date stamp on finepix s1850

Seeing the Date When Previewing images
  • The camera records the date and time of each photo in the metadata attached to each picture. You have the option to see the date and time when when the camera is in "Playback" mode, which allows you to preview your images on the screen. When looking at your pictures, use the "Disp/Back" button to include text with your pictures. The date and time will appear along the bottom of the image.

Printing the Date on Pictures
  • Users can include the time and date on their prints from the "Mode" menu by choosing "Print Order" with the "With Date" option.

I want to set my time date setting so it will be recorded on my pictures. Thank you imabaker@triad.rr.com

You will probably find that this not possible. The date and time are recorded in the EXIF information with each photograph all the time but not actually in the picture at all.

Can't turn off date and time

I don't believe that feature is built into any Canon cameras. You can strip the date data with a number of EXIF editing programs. I prefer exiftool, which is free and command-line based. Try searching for "exiftool gui" and you should find a graphical interface for editing metadata. Also look at XnView (xnview.com)

Cannot turn date stamp on in menu settings.

Date stamp is only possible when you set the resolution (picture size) at "Postcard 1600x1200" option, if the date stamp is set to "Date & Time" or "Date" option
