HI, I set my camera for Tungston bulbs which I use to shoot art. The images come out very brown. I can fix them in Photoshop but why is this happening?

try taking the shots with the camera set to daylight and or on auto colour balance.
daylight is 5600. k or if you like rather blue tungsten light is normally 3200 k. k stands for kelvin as in colour temperature. many digital cameras will sort out the colour for you but make sure that you are not using a mixture of light as this will confuse the colour saturation and give you all sorts of colour problems. what are you trying to photograph anyway. the back ground area must be lit for detail or you will get a blue noisy mess that tends to mess up the over all exposure. you need defused light for the best easy results. tell me more so i can understand your problem better

How do you disconnect the daylight, lights?

This is hard to explain without pics, but I will give it a shot: Just under the the steering wheel is the DRL (daytime running lamps) with a big white connector inserted into the backside of it. This connector has many wires. You need to locate the black/yellow wire. Cut the wire, and insert a swtich in between the two cut ends to enable/disable the DRL. This link has a great how-to instruction

Procedure:
Cut the Pin 12 Black/Yellow Stripe wire to disable the DRL "circuit"
operation. A switch can be installed inline between the two separate Black/Yellow Stripe wires for manual DRL operation if desired.

I just did mine over Christmas and it works with no problems.

Light or white picture when shot on a broad daylight or on a well-lighted area

Are you in any other mode besides automatic when this happens. If you're not sure, check that the rotator dial is set to the first little red camera right next to the blue arrow (this is the automatic position). If you're in this position then it's unlikely that overexposure will occur unless you're also encountering mechanical failure of a stuck shutter.

When did you get this message? It seems like you have set the White Balance of the camera wrong. Set it to Auto White Balance to eliminate this problem. Use Daylight White Balance when shooting in bright daylight so as to eliminate any color cast in the image.

Wude light "band" or stripe at the top of each image

yoav_etiel,
Try to reset the camera first, second don't operate the camera (on) without the lens attached, the shutter can get damaged. If you purchaed this camrea recently (new) it can be serviced, within a year it can be sent to Nikon for evaluation. If it is used or past the maufacturers warranty find a reputable shop to look at it.

Flash blows out the image!!!

hi ,

it could be possible that the light sensor (the device under the red transparent plastic) in front of the flash is already failing. to test, set the camera mode to auto then cover the sensor with your hand and do some test shots, the images should be overexposed if the sensor is covered, then shoot some photos without covering the sensor, the images should be properly exposed , otherwise it might already be a light sensor failure .

OVer exposure

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

Can't repair by yourself.
It's need repair camera machine shutter.

Lumix TZ3 zebra stripes in daylight pictures

hello sodaclub, this fault is normally caused from to much light entering through the lens, the shutter is not closing or working at all.

Camera overexposes on daylight and recorded images have hoizontal striping

I would take it off of automatic mode and adjust it manually.

The Samsung camera I have doesn't work very well in automatic mode under indoor conditions. It will work in automatic under outdoor conditions.

Hope that helps.
