No - you use these with a microphone. Plug you guitar into the Heil, put the tube in your moth and sing into a mic while playing. You CAN plug the microphone into the fender amp, but a PA system is better

I have a '93 Fender Blues deluxe tweed and don't seem to have any reverb, am I missing something?

Check the connection to the reverb tank (rectangular box usually sitting on the bottom of the amp). There are a pair wires that connect it to the amp. If wires are connected, and the reverb is not working, you may need to replace the reverb tank.

Deciding the date depends on what part of the amp your serial number is.

Fender blues deluxe reissue is making a popping sound

Try tapping the tubes (especially the small ones) lightly with a regular wood pencil and see if you can detect noise. Also verify your guitar AND cable are not the source of the noise by using them on another amp. Verify that popping exists witout guitar cable being plugged in.

Also this is the season for static electricity. Shuffling shoes on rug may create pops due to discharges. Spray rug with Staticide if this is the case.

Unable to activate reverb and drive channel with either cabinet switches or footswitch. Brand new out of the box so it must be something I am doing.

Make sure you have the CORRECT foot switch pedal. Try unplugging the pedal and then try the cabinet switches to see if they work. The pedal for this one has a different circuit than some. I have the schematic and we can do further testing.

Just got my fender 63 reverb reissue unit...and when i switch it on all i get is a loud buzzing hum type sound .

If you unplug the guitar cable and STILL get the hum, the unit has a defect... return under warranty.

If the hum goes away when you unplug the cable, replace the cable and see if new cable fixes the problem. If it does, the cable has a bad shield.

If the cable didn't cure it, then the guitar has a defect. Remember that some guitar pickups are sensitive to the magnetic fields from the amps... only cure is to either use humbucker types or be a distance away from the amp.

How do i connect the boss gt 10 to a fender blues deluxe amp and bypass the amps preamp

You can plug the output of the gt10 into the "power amp in" jack of the Fender. This bypasses the preamps in the Fender but uses a buffer amps in the Fender to drive the power amp. Please note that the reverb is STILL in the circuit when you do this. You can turn the reverb to zero if you wish to disable it.
