Often times dust or paper debris becomes lodged around the printer feed wheels. Use a can of compressed air to throughly blow out all areas accessable. If the printer is older it is usually cheaper to replace it than trying to repair.

SQUEAKING PRINTER

If it is squeaking when it is trying to pick up the paper then check the Paper Feed system.
If it is squeeking as it tries to print. Then it will be either the Cartridge or the Drum unit.
If it is squeaking from the back of the machine as the page is fed through the fuser then check the fuser is free moving.

Replacing the faulty unit will fix the squeaking. Be that the Paper Feed System/Drum/Toner/Fuser.

If you are printing invoices from the MP tray the pickup roller might be squeaking against the separation pad (common with this design). Other common squeak is toner cartridge noise.

Rollers squeak.

This probably means the rollers are getting slick and a little glazed. Dell printers seem prone to this. It's harmless unless it is the primary (big) rollers that push the paper up into the toner drum. See my advice to the paper jam question for fixing that.

Squeaky HP printer

Typically the squeaking comes from the toner cartridge. If you just purchased it, take it back, it's bad. If you can find an identical printer, swap cartridges and see if it makes a difference.

HP LJ P2015DN making noise/squeaking

Hi,
As you mentioned that the printer makes loud grinding noise or squeaking when page comes out than i feel this is the noise coming out due to faulty fuser.
I want to be sure so please open the rear bin and try to print if still noise comes than i m sure it is fuser.
If there are smudges on the printed page or if some film coating is coming out with printed page than fuser roller are physically damage.
However in this case i assume fuser is faulty.
If there opening the rear bin noise goes off than top output rollers are faulty.

Thanks and Regards

that's a mechanism issue inside..it's going to fail quite soon, so you may not have this problem for too much longer.

Squeaking noise when printing

Probably, but you?re going to have to try to isolate the problem a little better. Typically this would involve removing side panels and such; however, you may just have a faulty consumable like a toner cartridge, fuser or more likely the transfer kit. I typically try to isolate the sounds location then try replacing some of the consumables in that area one by one. In your case if you can?t isolate the location I would start with the transfer kit since that has a greater chance of making noise.
