Hi,

Condensation is cause by warm air meeting cold air. I would suspect the door gasket was the cause of the condensation. When looking this up, I found many different models under this number, part number 67003547, this gasket is black in color and is a push on, means no screws required to change.

I hope this helps

Frigidaire frost free upright freezer door corner dripping

Hello Yellow, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire freezer is dripping water out of the corner of the door. It is possible that with your power going out the heat may have caused the gasket to warp. Do you see any frost build-up? The water that is dripping could be coming from condensation within the freezer. I would recommend checking the gasket to see if it is allowing warm air to enter the freezer.

I recommend that you visually inspect the door gasket for defects such as gaps or tears. You can also use a dollar bill to test the door gasket. Place a dollar bill in between the door and the body of the freezer. If the dollar bill pulls out with no to little resistance, you may need to replace the door gasket. A faulty door gasket can allow warm air to enter the compartment and cause frost to condensation or a leak. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

I have condensation coming off the refrigernt tube that runs from condenser to freezer also ice build up on inside to the point of tearing the metal on inside back panel. What causes this ?

A side door heater is already defective.
It has heating element, it is there to dry any moisture build up around freezer door.
When it become defective, moisture or condensation occur, hence moisture is there.
Causing it to rust build or develope on the metal of the freezer.
Rust weaken the metal and soon tearing it.
Have it check by a service technician before it getting worse.
Good luck.

Why is there condensation on the bottom of my freezer door

Condensation that wasnt present previously usually indicates a warm air leak into the cabinet. Check the freezer door gasket at the bottom for any malformations, rips, tears or gaps between the gasket and the cabinet face.

When washing and water is running water runs out through the front door

If the machine is working alright otherwise , then there is an alignment problem on the door or your seal gasket is worn out. Since this is a mechanical failure it must be inspeccted before we can confirm on the fault. If you find the gasket worn out or the sides cut along, then it needs a replacement. The same type of gasket is available from different sources, try the LG dealer or the appliances hardware shop. If there is any hinge problem on the door remove and adjust. The door must close and seal well. Hope you can sit in front of the door and look carefully to logically confirm and repair. Hope you get this right. Good day

Possible that your door gasket is not sealing very well and therefore condensation forms in this area?

Upright freezer door inside developing ice

The door seal is at fault. Regardless of the small tear it is not sealing well.
Take a dollar bill and close it in the door. Then pull on the bill to feel resistance.
You will find it pulls easily in some place. That is where your air leak is that is causing the condensation.
Do this about every 6 inches all the way around the seal.

Possibly something was spilled and it got to the door gasket. Clean the door gasket area with warm soapy water. In the door there is nothing critical to the system operation that should cause the condition you have.
