First, try to read the SD card from another device to verify the SD card is ok. Look for the app: Android SD Card Recovery.

Sounds like the mem card is ruined, if you took mit out without un mounting it this can happen, download scandisk memory manager, withe the card installed run the app, if it doesnt find it the card is no good and get another, try the phone with the new one and should be ok

SOURCE: how to put music on my lg shine 8700

your best bet is the lg website, register for free, should have all the info you need, cant remember if you need software but i have a 2gb sd card in my shine and that works fine, its basically just dragging music or pictures to folder in external memory.make sure card is in slot properly as sometimes if my phones knocked it comes loose and comp wont read it,also try formating it,but you will lose anything on it.could be usb as well, mine didnt come with one,the first one i bought just kept reading as headphones, once replaced it worked could try getting a bluetooth usb as that works as well, and i only paid 99p on e bay for one,bit slower but not to slow.
hope this helps

Why won't my Sansa 250R won't recognize an sd card?

Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. The e250 works with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

SD Card Problems with Vivitar Vivicam 5118!

What size is the memory card. If it's larger than 4GB then it won't work in the 5118.
Try using another card. Don't format it in your computer but do format it in the camera before trying to take pictures.

I purchased songs and saved them on the SD memory card, but the songs have disappeared. When I try to re=download them, a message pops up saying that the catalog is out of date and can't be restored to...

First thing I would like you to do is download them to you console not to the sd card and then you can ushally move them over later as well.
ushally this will help refresh your sd card as well try that and then you should be able to get the downloads to work on the sd card again.

How can i reset my 2gb SD card?

Backup all data that you want to keep by copying them to the hard drive of your PC and then try to format the card: In Windows Explorer, right-click on the drive that represents the card and choose "Format...".
When done, format the card again in your phone - look for the proper menu item. This is important, because the phone may need to format the card in a different way than the computer did.
Then you may again transfer it to the computer and restore the data from your backup.
If formatting fails, the card seems to be defective and needs to be replaced.
