Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Your printer is probably not compatible with 64 bit OS.
It's was made before 64 bit OS were written so they never wrote a 64 bit driver for it. Sorry, but the old girl will need to be replaced with a more current printer that has 64bit capability.

Most of the software nowadays are only works for 32Bit operating system, you could try to check the availability of 64bit driver of your Printer from the manufacturer's web site.

For a first-time installation of the 1020 you can use this driver package: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software9/COL22237/bi-58677-1/lj1020_1022-HB-pnp-win64-en.exeIf you are upgrading the driver or if it has been previously deleted, but the USB port still exists, you need to use this one:ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software9/COL22212/bi-58588-1/lj1020_1022-HB-pd-win64-en.exe
