If there is a reset button on your ice maker try pushing it. Many ice makers have two holes for reset. A general rule of thumb is if the ice maker fingers are stopped in a slightly vertical position then your ice maker unit is working. If the fingers are stopped anywhere else then it needs some sort of attention or replaced. Make sure there is water, or ice in the ice maker tray, if not then the problem is with water supply.

Check the seal of the rubber gasket, if there are improper seal of the magnet, pour hot water along it to soften the rubber. (be careful when handling hot water). When the rubber is soften, try to stretch it a little by pulling it. close the door and the magnet will keep the seal in place.

Whirlpool side by side full drip pan

The condenser fan should be running whenever the compresser is running. With all of that condensate, I would look at your door gaskets. If they are leaking and you are in a high humidity area you will produce more condensate than what the pan can Handel. Then again. If the compresser is running the heat from the discharge line should evaporate the water with ease. I would look at the seals possibly leaking and ignore the full drain pan.

check the gasket fist if it's ok check the closure.there's a door closure on the bottom of the door and hinge that wears out and needs to be replaced,is the fridge door when closed side by side lower than the freezer door?it's plastic, here's a picture
http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Closing-Cam/R0181181/1035
part number R0181181 but call your local parts store and give them your model and p number or manufactures number and they will sell you the correct part,on some kits they give you the cams, shims and new screws,as for the drip pan overflowing, this is most likely from the warm air getting into the fridge melting out the frost on the coil or ice, usually when this happens the air ducts freeze up and the fridge section gets warm because the dold air from the freezer can't blow over into the fridge side because the air ducts are filled with ice, shut down the machine or unplug it,remove everything from the door, remove the top screws and then tilt out the door and lift up,put the door on it's side and change out the cams,it's usually a 5/16 inch screw holding them in place and then put it back together, while you have the door out check the gasket, any rips or anything change it out.hope this helps and good luck.

Amana freezer is cold, fridge is not.

You will be able to hear it when you open the freezer door and hold the door switch in.It is located behind the rear panel inside the freezer. The fan should be running when the compressor is running. If it is running make sure the damper(vent) to the fridge side is not blocked by ice and that the damper door is open.

Do I need to empty the water from my drip pan

the pan is there to catch condensation from the compressor during the refridgeration cycle. the water build up to me indicates one of two things. Either the refrigerant level is low and it is freezing up then thawing, or if you have ice or water dispencer it could have a leak in the line. the only thing other than that is a leak in the magnetic door seal or other insulation causing condensation. hope this helps

Condensation has formed and frozen behing the door panel. You can live with it, or take apart the panel and dry it out - you may have to replace some insulation. Hope this helps!

I would look to the condenser where the heat is removed from the refrigeration system for your problem. Check and make sure the condenser fan operates, check the compressor for operation. If the condenser is plugged with dust it will cause the compressor to cycle on its thermal overload protector. Normally in back there is a removable panel to access the condenser and compressor area. make sure you reinstall the cover after you are done. It is critical to proper operation and cooling of the system.
