We have an Electrolux EW30CC55GS induction cooktop that has been in storage for 3-years, and never used. Upon completion of our renovated kitchen, the cooktop was installed. We immediately received the error code "E" with no other numbers associated. How has this been fixed in other similar instances?

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Induction Cooktop Error Code 41

I realize this is over a year old. I have the same unit with the same error code. Last night, mine made a popping noise followed by smoke and then displayed the 41 and all E's. I pulled the breaker immediately. I'm sure that at least one controller board is toast.
I called Sears and it is under warranty but for parts only, so I guess I will give them a call and schedule the repairman. This should be fun.

Anyone else experienced this failure??

SOURCE: Electrolux Induction Cooktop E36IC75FSS Error Code 41

Hi Sue -- when you switched the breaker, how long did you leave it off before switching it back on? Generally, it's a good idea to leave the breaker off (or unplug the unit) for a full 30 seconds before switching the unit back on. If you did have it off for 30 seconds and the error code came on after that point, then it may possibly be a relay isse. That will more than likely require a visit from an authorized servicer to properly diagnose the cooktop. Hopefully the 30-second test prevails and the issue is resolved. Best of luck!

We aren't Electrolux, we are FixYa dot com, and you appear to have fixed it.

Resetting the board would simply involve cutting the power to it. Induction cooktops are a relatively new innovation to the home markets are in general, all Induction cooktops fail due to failing electrical components. I have a 50 year career in catering, and 10 years with induction units. Even the catering quality units with a single hob that cost $1,800 fail in 18 months to 2 years.

Contact Electrolux direct and ask if they can find the failed component and repair the board.

Prestige induction cooktop showing error E4

Good Afternoon friend, I appreciate your inquiry!

Typically on an Electrolux induction cooktop the "E4" error code stands for key sensor for timer. Which means you could be experiencing an issue with the right board, center board, or left board. I would perform a reset on your cooktop and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes.

If that does not assist with clearing any false error codes or the error "E4" continues to display I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

    Electrolux e21

Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that your Electrolux cooktop is flashing an "E21" error code. Based off the information I was able to look up it sounds like a possible issue within the left board. I would suggest seeking assistance from a technician for proper repair because some of these intricate parts do require precision and patience. Therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. -Matt

I am having error codes 35 and 75 come up on my induction cooktop

Thank you for your post, friend!
I located that on Electrolux Cooktop error codes "35" and "75" stand for input voltage too low. It could be an issue with your filter board or an issue within the voltages. I would recommend having a professional come out to your cooktop to properly diagnose to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
