Can't get the back on

Set the watch face down on a soft cloth and place the case back on the watch. Line the small indent up on the case back with the indent in the side of the watch, and push down on the case back with both thumbs with even pressure. The cover should snap back into place.

How do I get the back of my fossil watch back on?

mcdevito75 here, Fossil, a nice watch, but the backs of the watch can be tricky, try this, Look for and Tabs, or indentations on the back cover that line up to any of the same in the caseing itself, also look to see if there is a cutout in the cover for the stem (winder) of the watch, if so line up that cutout in the cover with the stem (winder) once you have the cover lined up with the case, grooves, indentations line up, the cutout for the stem lined up, place your watch crystal up and back of the watch down on a sturdy suface, Table, counter top, NOW with very even slow pressure with the palm of your hand press down equally on the crystal, the cover should snap on. Don"t over due the pressure to close the watchm, just nice even down ward pressure with the plam of your hand, Of course try to use your fingers first.
